Red Bull Announce Driver Lineups for 2026
« on: December 02, 2025, 04:38:04 PM »
Tsunodo is OUT
Hadjar is being PROMOTED to RBR
Lindblad is IN at Racing Bulls (have they confirmed what name they'll use in 2026)

Max and Lawson remain at RBR and Racing Bulls respectively

Why do this BEFORE the last race of the season?  Max can still win the WDC, and while Tsunoda hasn't been much help this year, why risk him not being helpful if he actually can be?  What exactly is Tsunoda supposed to do for  team that doesn't want him?

It's hard to argue that Tsunoda hasn't been the best at RBR.  I'd like to think that Hadjar has put in a great rookie season, and can do wll at the 'big team', but history has shown it can be a difficult transition.  Maybe Mekies will handle things better than Horner did?

Will Hadjar be the another victim of Max's super driving skill

With the change of car specification it'll be an interesting start to the season and no doubt all these drivers have been in the simulator but that is not like racing the actual car.
If LL, Al or even IH don't perform YT, who's reserve for both teams, could yet get a drive knowing just how ruthless RB is.

I'm curious to see how Hamilton handles the new car. If he doesn't perform
it may be his last year. I still think they should have kept Carlos

From what I have read including statements from former Ferrari drivers the culture at Ferrari is wrong and they say changes need to happen.
They have gone backwards from 2024 and stopped developing the car from April this year so as it was poor before April it was never going to improve after.
As KR was their last champion in 2007 and they've had many good drivers in the car something has to be wrong.
