FIA say they're making things simple for us F1 fans - Yeah Right!!!

F1 revealed its simplified terminology for key 2026 rule elements including the newly-named 'Overtake Mode', 'Boost Mode', 'Active Aero' and 'Recharge'.

If that's simplifying things I'd hate to see what they consider complicated. 

All I can see ahead is more more boxes or graphics on screen alerting god knows whom to some of these new constructs in action when I'm trying to watch an F1 motor race. 

I'm fed up already with the bloody AWS battle forecast, that more often than not fails utterly to get it right, without having any more crowded onto the screen. 

Is it just me or is the TV screen too crowded already with pointless information? 

Rant over now let's get on with Christmas.
