What the FIA is considering changing and who the winners and losers might be.

"We don't like race cars slowing down, so to solve that we will slow the race cars down"

Take away the automated systems, let the drivers handle power management.  All the complaints have been about the cars behaving unexpectedly, so let's take that out.

Or, instead of taking away power, let the batteries hold more power, so they don't run out during the straight.  I'm certainly no expert on how the hybrid systems work, but I'm willing to bet the existing systems can hold more power, and if not, would be a simpler change than to the ICE part of the system.

Its not about the amount of power the batteries hold its the charging of them and all these problems were forecast yet still they went ahead and with the changes they are making it becomes even more confusing.  :fool:

It was the increase in electric power that brought in Audi and brought Honda back. The FIA is afraid if they fiddle too much, they will lose these new manufacturers.  :DntKnw:

Seems like a fair trade off to me Lonny to get proper racing back.  :DD
