Author Topic: Is McLaren tyre cooling trick phase change material not water cooling?  (Read 2170 times)

Offline John S

All the fuss created by Red Bull accusing Macca of using water cooling in their F1 tyres is debunked as baloney.

Something much more interesting is going on according to Driver61.com with phase change materials.

So good old fashioned hard to acheive F1 technical initiatve,  :good:
not just plain ordinary cheating.  :D

That's the kind of stuff I watch F1 to see.
