Not my fault I was late - I was off doing research for the site in Daytona. Welcome, Mel!

The tax thing here in the States is an awful muddle. Every state has its own list of things that it taxes, and in most, the counties and cities can tack on their own.

When I was young, West Virginia charged Personal Property Tax on children - so much per head!

Depends what you are looking for but I've heard www.f1box.co.uk is quite reasonably priced!

Though he (me!) doesn't do clothing or current models.

Back to the original question - there's the F1 shop at Meadowhall (Sheffield)

I went to Meadowhall two days ago, and it was a bit sad to see half the shops on the lower floor still haven't re-opened after all the flooding of a month ago. Happily, the F1 Shop there is very much open, enabling me to pick up several photos, a 2000-spec Autocourse and a hat. When I asked the shop assistant how they'd managed to get going again so quickly, given that many of the closed shops were bigger, she said, "Well, you see, we came in the day after the flood and cleaned up!" That's the other shops told...

Sounds just like Richard (the owner) to roll his (and the staff's) sleeves up and get on with it. I know him reasonably well (we do a number of the same events each year and I supply him with a few items of stock from time to time).
