F1- Closing
« on: April 22, 2007, 03:07:08 PM »
Due to lack off use, and lack of interest from the forum staff I closed the forum early last week.

I have been trying to work something out to prevent the closure of the news site but so far, my attempts have failed. As a result, the site will close completely at the end of the month.

If anyone is interested in merging with Motorsport-Network or even take over the site, please contact me on admin@motorsport-network.net

Please note: This report has nothing to do with the running of GP Wizards Forum,Or Site In Anyway.

We are very lucky to have a very active forum with contributions from our members.

I have contact them to see if there is anything that GPWizard could benefit from. It's always sad when an F1 site shuts down for whatever reason.  :(

It is sad but I must admit that I've never even seen the site

Received this reply from Motorsport Network.

Hi

Thanks for the email. As I said in the article, the site is closing, however I have decided that in a few months, I will be reopening something new. The main reason Motorsport-Network is closing is because of the fall out from the other Admins, who wouldn't help me run and advertise the site.

As a result of my decision, I don't intend on merging or passing the news site onto someone else.

I had a look at your site, it is nice, smooth and easy to look at and alot of activity for a site under a year old, wish I could have achived that.

Thanks for your interest

Robert
