Yo-Yo
« on: April 26, 2007, 03:24:14 PM »
I have been clearing out some of the clutter, and came across an old Butterfly Yo-Yo.
I bet we all had them at some time or other for the kids.

Before sending it to the charity shop i had a final go.

Not up to his standard yet.

it really pisses me off when somebody
steals my routine,at least I didn't
show him my fancy moves

If he has enough time to put in the amount of practice it takes to do that, I'm betting he doesn't have a girlfriend! ::)

He has got fast hands Cosworth, bet he has?

Anyway I Walked the dog, then clonked myself on the head.********It has now been put in the bin to go.
I hope it brings some child some fun though.
I should have kept it for a Wizard booby prize for competitions?

I was so bad at yo-yoing that getting the
string on my finger was my big trick

When I was a kid, the Duncan Yo-Yo company would send "Yo-Yo Pros" around on tour to show off tricks and sell Yo-Yo's. I could walk the dog, but that was about it.

The Yo-Yo is one of those everlasting toys, every 5 years it comes back in to fashion and every kid has to have one!

There's not many toys you can say that about.

The best trick I could do with a yo-yo was the 'smack down'........that's where I would unravel the string and swing the yo-yo at someones head.........usually finished with them on the ground crying and someone else beating me up.....it was impressive to see.....really......

Rom, I think you should show that trick to Mr Ecclestone. I'm sure we he would appreciate it.

Probably not a good Idea......he can afford the really really tough guys to beat me up.......

Stig....I actually did have several boomerangs when I was younger........got a little dangerous though....I could get them coming back with some real speed on them......many times I had to duck or dive away to avoid getting hurt....a couple of times I even got hit......only once in the head though..........hmmm.......might explane a bit about me though...
