Ever lost your balls?
« on: April 24, 2006, 01:24:04 PM »

If your idea of a round of golf is swinging madly at a small spherical object and firing it off in all directions at ridiculous speeds, then you might benefit from the Ballfinder Scout, a device that uses cutting edge technology to retrieve “misplaced” spheres.

Employing a digital camera that scans 600 square feet per second, the Ballfinder can pick out a white ball with as little as 1% of its surface exposed, vibrating madly when it does so. So, unless you’re forever hooking shots into lakes or completely out of the golf course, it should ensure that you never lose a Titleist, (thats a golf ball, you know), again.

The bad part is that it costs £140, a sum which could buy you a fair few balls. Still, your money will also get you an instructional DVD featuring the ever-cheery Nick Faldo. Worth the £140 alone, I'm sure.
