Don't know how I missed them,but I finally viewed
Cos's Indy pictures.Pretty impressive,didn't realize
so many foreign cars raced at Indy in the 30's and 40's

Thanks, Dare. Glad you liked them. Indy had a big Euopean presence from the very first. F1 points were awarded for it from after the war to 1961.

like that 52 Ferrari,the 63 Lotus 29,but I think my
favorite might be the 30 Masarati driven by
Wilbur Shaw,a beauty

As small as the Lotus is, it almost dwarfs Brabham's Cooper Climax. If you ever get the chance, take a run up I-65 and see the museum for yourself. It's quite a collection, and it's so large that they change what's on display every few months.
