it rained all morning on and off except for the final 15 min session of qually. but it was about 32 degrees,so it took about 3 mins for clothes to dry and the rain was welcome cos it cooled me down and and made qually more fun

well i didnt stay for the GP2 sessions or porche super cup because i'd left northern england at a cool 11 degrees

hello 32 degrees french riviera

i Stayed in the centre of Nice. Never seen so many ferraris in one place in my entire life. Its a very expensive place to stay/ eat etc (about twice as much as UK)

southern france is very different from northern france. Most obvious example is they all speak english and actually like Brits and Yanks. No chips on these southern cheese eating surrender monkeys shoulders  :DD     but then again, when u look at the harbour in monaco and see all the boats are British registered...its understandable why they like us.....£££££££

Great pix, CH! Monaco's the one race just about every F1 fan would love to go to. Sound's like it was a fun trip. Are you going to any other races this year?

Hi all thanks for dropping by  :)

Cosworth - Been thinking of going to monza or spa in september. I might turn up at silverstone just to see some old friends from F1racing.net. Also been thinking of hiring a ferrari for the day and driving round monaco.  LOL

Stig - i spent approx 1500 quid for the weekend. I kept asking ppl how much the weekend cost them, couples spent around £2500. It can be done very cheap. U can watch the race for free on the hill side by Rascasse. Friday is free. If you book your flight in January you will get 50 quid return flights instead of 250 return.

you can get a very nice 2 star hotel for 60 quid a night in Nice with a great view of the med, public transport to monaco from Nice is 6euros return takes 20 mins and its a great ride, beautiful scienery, or u could go camping or even sleep on the beach if you were really skint

Ian - thanks , it was a great race, it had all the razzamataz you would expect but you cant beat Spa for a race tho, sitting at Kemmels watching cars come out of Eau Rouge and accelerating upto 200mph+. Because monaco is in a confined space, although its very very loud, you dont hear that ear splitting scream that bursts your ear drums when a single car comes past at 220mph -  for me u cant beat that experience

 :D
