LEWIS MCLAREN REPLICAS
« on: June 04, 2007, 10:11:29 PM »
Lewis Hamilton's reputation is going from strength to strength. Five grands prix, five podium finishes! It seems only a matter of time before he takes the top step of the podium - what price a dream first victory at Silverstone in July?

The first ever Lewis Hamilton replicas should be released over the summer.

We have just received confirmation that in the middle of August we should receive our delivery of his 1:43 2006 MP4/21 test car, which he drove towards the end of the season while Ron Dennis evaluated whether he should be given his big break with a 2007 race seat.

We think he made the right decision!

The replica will measure about 10cm in length. As this was Lewis' first ever McLaren, and he is sure to enjoy a lengthy and successful career with the team, we think it will be very sought after one day. As ever, we will not charge cards until despatch.

To order your model you can purchase on-line call Grand Prix Legends on 0870 460 3456 quoting ITV and product code DC26484. The price is £24.99.

I've got a number of 1/43 scale cars: F1, Le Mans, NASCAR, classics. I even recently got a British Racing Green 1970 MG Midget like the one I'm restoring. The only thing is - it's Italian spec. No side markers lights, two windshield wipers and half white, half amber parking light lenses. I got it up at McLean's Brit Bits in Rye, New Hampshire.

I have a cabinet of 1:43 F1 car from all eras on the wall in my study. I wanted to but another cabinet and start to fill that up but Mrs Wiz objected - so thats another avenue of pleasure cut off!  :(

Just swap them around every once and a while and play innocent. "No, Dear, those are the same cars!" ;)

Nice one guys  :good:

Toby won't protect me, he is the biggest coward going, all bark and no bite! Unfortunately Mrs Wiz is the exact opposite!
