I don't think he will win it but it is too early to say he definitely won't.  People have turned round bigger deficits in shorter times.

Hope not Mike.
An aircraft landing is just a controlled crash.

Well, prior to Magny Cours, I'd have laughed at such a suggestion. But bear in mind the McLaren performance that helped their drivers to pull away in the DWC battle. At France the new and improved Ferrari seemed to be back on the pace once more. And with nine races to go??

I'm with Steven Roy, whilst I consider it unlikely, its too early to dismiss the claims of the Finn outright.

I think we will have a clearer picture after Silverstone.

Mc Laren's strategy in France was appauling. Ron D himself said that Macca flattered Ferrari in France.

If Ferrari are really as good as that then they will repeat the performance at Silverstone. Then Macca should start worrying, but not before.

Remember last year, everyone thought Michael was out
of it.If he had'nt had that engine failure in Japan and
cut tire in Brasil,who knows

And don't forget his stunt in Monaco

So,Kimi still has a chance in my opinion
Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."

Of course Raikkonen can still win.  Heck, if it comes to it, so could Heidfeld.

Mathematically...

Kimi is immensly talented and supremely quick......we all know this, what he needs is to keep his coolness and just drive....He is one of only a few on the grid that can make a great result from a car that is not quite there....only if he stays cool....everyone calls him the iceman, but I don't think it's quite true, he is rather passionate and gets caught up with his emotions.....as can be told by the mistakes he makes by pushing too hard.

If the stars align, Kimi keeps his head, Ferrari keep delivering a good car and the Mclarens have a little bit of Red Bull luck then yes Kimi is really in the hunt, miss just one of those elements and I think it will be a Mclaren Title (both WCD & WCC)

Thanks for reading my ramble guys....

Looking at Kimi the last couple of weekends, whatever it is that Stepney is reputed to have put in his tank perhaps Jean Todt ought to put a bit more in both Ferraris.

Nando is there but Kimi is overshadowing Massa as we have all been expecting him to do all season.

Lewis seems to be having difficulty keeping the pace. He has been improving in all sectors but nowhere near enough. Hope he finds it.

Best of the rest Rosberg, ahead of the BMWs.

I don't know what Cora gave Ralf for breakfast this morning !

Liuzzi very encouraging. Speed was up there most of the session, and Davidson is fastest of the Hondas.

The key to Ralf's dramatic increase in speed is simply due to a weight issue...... she 15 million pounds from your salary (yes I know it hasn't happened yet) and all of a sudden you are light enough to race......

It looks like a Murray Walker moment.
