Grotesque rictus of disgruntlement.
« on: August 31, 2007, 08:14:21 AM »
I love reading F1 Racing magazine, and I do enjoy editor Matt Bishop when he in "that sort of mood".

So you will all have guessed which F1 driver the Bish was writing about when he produced a fabulous 4 page article under the heading of
Grotesque Rictus of Disgruntlement.

I couldn't have described him better myself. I'm sure you all know the subject of the article.

We get F1 Racing a month late over here. I look forward to seeing who it is.

In that case, I'll only mention that on this particular occasion, the individual in question (who is not Fernando Alonso) fully earned the poetically scornful description...

I get a subscription to F1 Racing, and since it only had to travel a few dozen miles down the M1 to reach me, the magazine arrived at my house some thirteen days ago. Hopefully cosworth151's copy will reach him in America soon.

They must use the old "runner with a cleft stick" method of distribution!

If I am not mistaken it was the same driver he turned round to and said 'Go on, off you ****'

Not Massa, this guy complains regularly.  F1 magazine once did a full article on his many rants.

I can't believe this is proving so difficult. He's such a miserable old git ........ and he doesn't seem to have much life left in Formula 1. Not that he ever had! ;)

I have a sub to F1 Racing too and read it cover to cover. I particularly like reading Peter Windsor and Alan Henry - both about my age and era. Both know Grand Prix racing when it was proper, not synthetic.

You're right JB, it is pretty simple.  Who is the sulkiest driver on the grid right now.  Get that and you know who the article is about!

Personally, I think the guy has every right to look disgruntled, considering the things that are said about him.  When this guessing game is over, I have a link to an article that puts the other side and I'll post it in here.  Must maintain our balance, you know.  ;)
