Ugliest Car Ever?

I just saw an article about this "car" in the daily Autoweek update. Just when I thought there could never be a car that's even uglier than a Scion xB, along comes the Tanghua.

The Tanghua electric car was designed by Li Shi Guang Ming Auto Design Co., which will have a display at the Detroit auto show in January.

Founded in 2002, the Beijing company claims to be China’s first independent automotive design studio in China. Its first product is the Tanghua electric car, which already is on sale. This will be its first time at the Detroit show.

It looks like it came from a Playschool Weebles set.

A few years ago there was a car made for the people who do Outspan oranges in the shape and colour of an orange.  This almost looks like a rip off of that.

Ok, that one makes me wrinkle my nose, but have you seen the Honda Element in North America - looks like they put it together with spare parts (I think that's why they call it the Element)...been living in Europe for a while and the last couple times home saw the thing and couldn't believe it.

Yes, we do have the Element. In fact, I almost mentioned it in the first post. I always thought that it and the xB were attempts to build real world versions of cheap plastic toy cars.

All three of them look like they fell out of the top of an Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Well, those are homely, but the Pontiac Aztek really takes home the prize.

To my friends in North America, I realize that this is "piling on".  This is most maligned car ever sold here, methinks.
