Post your topics here regarding the Monaco Grand Prix! UPDATE: Thursdays free practice Juan Pablo Montoya goes fastest of the race drivers, leading Alonso! Could Mclaren be back?

Mclaren are to have diamond encrusted steering wheels for the Monaco GP, lets hope that the sparkle will be a reflection of their result on Sunday! :D

Deciding between Alonso and Schumacher is near impossible. In Barcelona, where Ferrari were convinced of their superiority as late as Sunday when the lights went out, Alonso proved uncatchable from pole. If Ferrari's Ross Brawn, the pit lane's guru of race strategy could not read the tea leaves in the telemetry, what chance have do I have?

There is no rain predicted for Sundays race so pole position will be a massive advantage, so make sure you don't miss qualifying. I can't wait.  :D

Theres trouble brewing in the pit lane due to Schumacher stopping on his final lap causing Alonso and Fisi to slow down potentially loosing them 1st and 2nd. Renault are not happy, did Schumacher cheat?

Schumacher has denied that he deliberately stalled his car in qualifying in an attempt to hold onto pole position.

Flavio Briatore accused Schumacher of 'deliberately' stalling his car to prevent Fernando Alonso from taking pole position. "It looked deliberate, and everybody is saying it, not just me," he said.

The incident immediately sparked rumours that Renault would protest Schumacher's pole position, however, so far the FIA are refusing to confirm whether this is true.

What a shame kimi and mark webber retired. They really did have the speed and I thought we could have good ol' McLaren and/or Williams winning GP's again. At least Monty was second and it was good to see a Brit on the podium again, even if Coulthard was wearing a Superman cape, (I wondered where that had gone  ::)).

A good Monaco Grand Prix overall I thought, just wish I could have been there.

Yup, sure was a good gp, and some good overtaking 'specially for Monaco, gutted for Webber though, he was flying. BUT, did'nt the man do well to start from pit lane and then come 5th, thought DC had a good race too  :good:
