Silverstone Competition
« on: June 05, 2006, 12:13:42 AM »
With the British Grand Prix at Silverstone only a few days away its time for our best competition yet. The prize is something truly unique that any F1 fan would love to own.

The prize is a 'one off' painting of Micheal Schumacher famously driving around Silverstone in the rain. This has been lovingly painted and kindly donated by our old friend The Stig. The painting measures 29" x 21" and is the only one of it's kind in the world. The Stig worked for Jaguar/Rover/Triumph for 15 years creating publicity brochures and posters etc so he knows his stuff.

All you have to do to enter is simply post an image that sums up F1. The image can be past or present and can be a photo (yours or off the internet), or your own painting or drawing, anything to convey what F1 means to you in a single image. It could be an overtaking maneuverer, a dedicated fan or the actions of a driver or team owner - you decide.

The final date for posting images will be 22nd October 2006 (the last race of the season) and the winner announced shortly after.

Remember this prize is a 'one off' and you cannot beg, buy, borrow or steal another one the same. Get your pictures in and keep your fingers crossed.

Good luck everyone.

Wizard just sold one like Competion painting for £1,395.
If there is no one interested ,Wizard please keep it yourself, if you of course like it. I think It is a case of people not Knowing how to send images in.
Even I Have not got a clue?how to send in photographs etc.
Suggest a hard Question from the Wizard instead? to resolve things.I think you will have more response.
Kind Regards
The Stig
