I'm looking forward to it, Dare. There was nothing in the world like big block American V8's and Porsche V12's blasting around road courses! And with some of the all-time great drivers!

Ardenness Productions is the same company that put together one of my favorite F1 DVDs: 50 Years of F1 On-Board.

Opps, my mistake! As everybody knows, the Porsche 917 had a flat, boxer 12, not a V12.

I've just read an update on this DVD. The word from Ardennes Productions is that there has been so much great original footage uncovered that their forthcoming release will be bigger and better than first anticipated. The finished product is likely to run somewhere between 90 minutes and two hours. They are looking at a January 2008 release date. I can hardly wait!
