Lambo Art
« on: December 03, 2007, 02:21:36 PM »

The combination of fine art and beautiful cars seems like a good one, but would you really want this on your wall? Richard Moriarty has decided that his beautiful 1974 Lamborghini is just too pretty to be confined in his garage, so he’s stuck in on his living room wall!

After Moriarty removed the car’s engine, he then proceeded to use a 70-ton crane to lift the car through a skylight before then attaching it to his wall. He must trust in the fixtures because he’s hung the 1,000 pound car over a solid glass staircase!

So, what do you think? Is this art? or just a mad man with a big living room?

It is more artistic than anything that has won the Turner prize in the past 10 years.  Problem is though looking at something like that isn't going to be like driving it.  So he is going to need to buy another one to put in the garage.

If it falls off and smashes his staircase the insurance form is going to make interesting reading.
