Thank you very much, everyone!  Yep, the weather did put a little kink in the celebrating so far - had to cancel one night out because of ice and rain and snow and general inclement crap.

Cosworth took me to a movie tonight (Golden Compass - we both loved it) and then out to dinner, then back to his place to watch a silent movie (that's our standard Sunday event - we watch TCM silents).  It was a good night.

And I'm handling 50 quite well.  I haven't freaked out or gotten weird (well, any more than typical for me), although I did have to confess to Cos about me flailing around in the woods with a broom and a basket, tangled in vines and dumped on with snow.

It's a loooong story.
