New Audi R8 V12 Diesel!!

Whoever is in charge of keeping Audi’s secrets is not very good at their job, as there is a leaked video of the Audi R8 V12 TDI was posted on a Russian website. The thing is Audi was trying to keep a tight lid on things with this car until The 2008 Detroit Motor Show, however even before this video some leaked photos managed to make their way to a Spanish website.

The Audi R8 V12 TDI is a very big deal for the German Automaker, as this car can produce 500HP while still maintaining a reasonable fuel economy of 23MPG, and just think that this car has a top speed of 300 km/h and a 0-60 time of just 4.2 seconds. If our Russian is correct it looks as though the Audi R8 V12 TDI might start production by the middle of 2009.
