It's so good to get a program about racing that assumes people understand the sport and technology and doesn't assume everyone is an absolute beginner.

They really shoud have made a 6 or 10 part series of this.  It was entertaining but you can't really go from 1906 to 1960 in an hour.  I love that Alain deCadenet reassly drove those cars.  In a lot of similar programs in the past the presenters have treated the cars like Fabergé eggs.  I am sure a few people will have had their delicate constutions upset at the sight of him wheelspinning the Cooper off the line.

I love the Lotus 79.  It helps that 1978 was the first year we got serious TV coverage of F1.
