The Stig ? Look on page 37 of The Sun newspaper, it's got a photo of the Stig's eyes through his visor, anyone agree that they look suspiciously like Martin Brundle's.

I haven't seen the comic you mention but it is common knowledge that The Stig is and always has been Perry McCarthy.  The reason they changed from the original black Stig to the white Stig was because he published his autobiography as Perry McCarthy "The Stig".

As far as I am aware the only time anyone else has appeared as The Stig was when the Renault F1 car went round the track.  That was driven by Heikki Kovalainen dressed as The Stig.  Kind of sums up Perry's career.  Even when his alter ego is given the chance to play in a decent F1 car someone else gets the gig.

Bet he wishes Kovy had been around to drive the Andrea Moda.

This whole mystery about The Stig is just a ruse. The true secret of Top Gear is that Hamster is actually an alien from another planet. Just look at the pictures yourself, think about the two of them and you will realize that I an correct.

The truth is out there!
