Maserati Gran Turismo S
« on: March 06, 2008, 10:30:23 PM »
The 2008 Geneva Motor Show was promised to be a great auto show, and Maserati was on hand to get the show of to a great start as they unveiled their 440-hp Gran Turismo S. If you have a lust for sexy fast cars, then I think that Maserati is on to a winner.

What makes the Maserati Gran Turismo S more successful than the older GTS is there is 35 more BHP. The 4.7 liter engine produces 440-hp from its massive V8. This new GTS has a sportier look, thanks to styling from Pininfarina. The interior has Alcantara and also Poltrona Frau Leather. Maserati has shown with this car that you can have speed and still have luxury as well.

I think that would look very nice alongside my DB9 or DBS in my triple garage.  8)

I think it would look good beside the 70 MG Midget and 88 Yugo in mine.

(They're small enough that they both sit on one side of the garage!)

It's a great shame but there is no space between the Previa and Toledo in mine. :-[

Is that the year they had the lawnmower attachment for the Yugo?  I can't think of another reason to keep one around for 20 years. :DD

Kidding - I know they're fun.

You guys are lucky you HAVE garages, much less a garage that can fit two cars.  Garages around here rent for more than my apartment did in college, and there is no place for one anywhere around our apartment...my car - a Touran - is usually parked in front of the hotel.

The only reason my garage now only holds 2 cars is due to a massive landslip from a volcanic eruption taking my 8 bay museum of rare Bugattis in a cnflagration with 100metre flames ............ :'(

Just because there was really only one badly finished wooden model and got it damaged by putting a hot barbeque in the shed next to it does not diminish the real sense of loss  ;)

There is a much better reason for keeping it. It really p!sses off the Republicrook Commissar of Compulsury Comformity who keeps trying to have it condemmed.

As far as lawn mowers, I have a rider that some friends and I built for my mother a few years ago. She refused to use it just because it will wheelie the entire length of the lawn. :yahoo:
