Bentley not to use W16 and diesel engines
« on: March 27, 2008, 01:13:12 AM »
When you think of huge old school engines Bentley springs to mind, and at one stage rumors were that they were to produce W16 as well as diesel engines. Well I have some bad news for you, it seems as if Bentley have ruled out producing these new engines.

It seems a shame that the only car to use the W16 engine is the Bugatti Veyron, the world’s fastest production car. It also seems strange that Bentley do not want to try and reduce emissions in their vehicles by using clean diesel engines.

For future Bentley customers you will have to make do with the smaller 6.75-liter V8s and 6-liter W12s power units instead.
