The onboard shows that the rim disintegrated.

FOM have had it removed on copyright.
I expect it will be back somewhere though.

Looks like Bernie has as much idea about the internet as Max.  If he had any sense he would set up a video site and sell advertising and make a few quid.  This is supposed to be the great business brain behind F1 and instead of making money on a site with high quality videos he is spending money shutting down videos on youtube.

I checked the IRL and NASCAR sites. All of the past week-end's shunts are there. Who does Bernie think he's shorting?

I still can't find this video on any video site.  I have found video of the biggest crash of the weekend though. The driver concerned broke an ankle.

He's lucky he hit that fence with
the bottom of his car

The exposed head scares me to death.  Can you imagine (maybe a couple of you can?) what it would be like to suddenly have your roof gone and you find yourself flipping through the air?  Amazing he only limped away.

The FIA have posted some video of Barcelona at http://www.formula1.com/services/play_video.html I don't know if it has the accident in it because it is so slow to load that I gave up on it.  Can these people do anything right?

I read somewhere that McLaren is saying that the rim failed...to me, it looked like the brake failed and demolished the rim.  Wonder why they don't want anyone to think it was the brake?  It reminded me of Schumi's wreck, but I think on his the throttle stuck open.  The initial view I had made me think exactly that.  Didn't it seem like he was accelerating on the gravel?

I download the review videos after each race.... they take a while, but, personally I think they are really great quality vids... I wish I was as good.....

The spain video shows both the crunch into the tyres and a little bit later they show the on board shot of the tyre desintergrating...
