Motor Show
« on: July 19, 2006, 03:17:04 PM »

I have just returned from the London Motor Show and for anyone going, there´s plenty of F1 cars dotted about on various stands and even a 'pit stop challenge' for you to attempt.

The best F1 exhibit by far is located on the Honda stand - on show is a specially-commissioned Formula 1 exhibit ´View Suspended´. An actual Honda F1 race car taken apart and then displayed as a piece of 3D art - I have never seen anything like it before and in my opinion was the best thing about the show. A complete F1 car, exploded so you can see every cog, nut & bolt and then suspended from the ceiling like a giant puzzle - it´s original and captivating and shouldn't be missed!  :good:

Watch out for pictures coming soon.

Pictures are now in the image gallery as promised. The image files were huge so I have shrunk them down for speed! Hope you like them.

The Motor Show opens it's doors today and I would recommend a visit if you can make it. It's not as big as then NEC in Birmingham but a great day out all the same.
