Pleaides, some of the airfield days can result in some really nasty stone chips due to the amount of gravel thats there. I would go for a trackday at Bedford Autodrome if you was worried at all. Great surface there mate and no barriers at all, loads of run off area.

Only problem with Bedford is that they are quite strict with noise.

thanks neil, been looking at Bedford Autodrome, they also do novice days at Oulton Park which is nearer for me, but if i loose control of the car, im hitting a barrier and that'll cost a fortune to fix,  but its very hard to loose control of a scooby cos of the ecu.  :good:

Shell if i see ur ex i'll mow him dwn  :DD

I agree with Neil about Bedford Autodrome. Absolutely the best place for a first track day and only 10 mins from me :)

Some of those Oulton Park barriers do a lot of damage.  I crash tested a couple of them.  You also have to keep an eye out for rabbits on the line.  You end up with blood and rabbit bits all over the car.

I hit my missus in the eye with a wine bottle cork last night. Does that count for anything ?  :DD

Sounds like it depends on whether she was zigzagging or not
