Webber Set To Stay
« on: July 20, 2006, 05:37:20 PM »
Mark Webber will be staying at Williams next season, that's according to his manager Flavio Briatore.

There has been much speculation of late about the Aussie's future after a disappointing start to the season with Williams, which has seen him net just six points and express an interest in driving for Renault as Fernando Alonso's replacement.

However, despite this, Briatore, who is also Renault's team boss, says Webber will be extending his stay at Williams for at least a further season.

"He'll stay at Williams on the conditions set by us," Briatore told the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.

What those conditions are, though, the Italian wouldn't say.
