Until France I would have said Alonso was number one but Piquet passed him on the last lap and a number two would not be allowed to do that.  It was easy for Alonso to get on with him when he was slower.  Now that he has some speed and going to circuits he knows it could be different.

I don't think he was 'allowed to pass him', but there wasn't enough time left for him to allow Ferd back in front without bringing the FIA thundering down about driver orders.

i don't think alonso was to unhappy with piquet for overtaking him as he knows he is much better and that piquet is young
