After their disastrous season with the V12 for the Footwork team back in the 1990's (I think) when Porsche quit mid season, a return to F1 looks very unlikely.

Even though they now have the profits to invest heavily in motorsport, they tend to stick to what they know best. The Carrera Cup is a very successful series and promotes their cars 100% of the time.

It’s a shame Porsche have found it necessary to build 4x4's but this reflected by the increased profits and companies like Lamborghini are now following suit.

I think Porsche have been out of F1 for too long to make a competitive return, but I for one would welcome their return.

Virtually anything Porsche make is cool. I like their cars, pens and even coffee machines, mind you they are all a tad on the expensive side!  ::)
