The Leafield shops will not be included in the sale. The former Arrows facility was leased from American DIY millionare John Menard. He is the founder/owner of the Menard's chain of big box DIY stores. He also is the father of IndyCar and NASCAR driver Paul Menard, and has long been involved in both series.

A truly sad occassion.... I hope that all the super aguri fans can get in the Auction and buy a piece of history... one of the best loved little teams, with one of the best go-getter attitudes... let's see more like them lasting long enough to make their mark and not get speared by a manufacturer.

Rom you seem to be overlooking the fact that they owed their existence to Honda in the first place. I share in the regret we all feel over SA's demise but simple lack of funds caused it.

No one can doubt that, dollar for dollar (or should I say yen for yen), Super Aguri FAR out performed the Honda factory team. It also didn't sit well that Super Aguri was hugely popular in Japan, far outstripping both Honda and Toyota.

There are rumblings all over Japanese F1 sites that Honda actually helped block potential sponsors from SAF1 to prevent being embarrassed by the pluckly little squad again this year. It's a well know fact that Honda intervened to block several potential investors. Honda also pulled the strings to get SAF1 barred from theTurkish GP.

If Honda ws serious about success in F1, they would have done better to scrap the factory team and put theie resources behind Aguri-san and his team.
