German GP Television
« on: July 18, 2008, 01:35:56 PM »
Just a reminder to all of you here in the States: Sunday's German GP will NOT be shown live on Speed. It will be shown tape delay on the Fox broadcast network. Air time will be 13:00 EDT. The broadcast team will be the usual Speed crew of Hobbs, Windsor, Matchett & Co.

This will be the last of the four races on Fox. The rest of the season will be back live on Speed.

If anybody has a link to watch the German GP live then please post it,  I'm sure this would go down favourably.

I got this one from Dare:

http://soccer-live.pl/ITVF1/f1player.php

It's a bit spotty. Right now, I've got it running fine on PC 3. When I try to fire it up on this unit (PC 1), It says I can't watch it outsde the UK. Both units are hooked to the same hub. PC 3 has IE 6, PC 1 has IE 7.

Try http://stream.ra1kkonen.com/  That should get you the ITV feed as long as you are not in the UK.  Unfortunately you will get James Allen commentating.

Hami was pretty impressive today.

Morning session. Out with a couple of minutes to go and takes a couple of tenths off Massa.

Afternoon session. Same thing. Massa had been out all session chipping away at FTD, then out comes Hami with 2 minutes to go and takes 6 tenths off that time.

I bet Massa must have been p*ssed off.

I only saw the afternoon session and I knew Hamilton was sandbagging.  He set a quick time after 15minutes and no-one was near him.  Massa spent the next hour finding tenth after tenth and then Lewis came out and found 0.7s in one flying lap.  The faces of the Ferrari mechanics after the session told its own story.  They thought they had it.
