Jacques Villenerve has finnally revealed why he quit the drivers"GPDA"union
The BMW-Sauber driver,who infamousley clashed with Michael Schumacher on the way to his 1997 title,resigned from the organisaton after a meeting at Silverstone that had been billed as a remonstration for Shumacher's actions at the RASCASSE CORNER IN monnaco.
But the meeting was ultimately brief and Schmacher emerged with his 'GPDA' intacked.Villeneuve suggests that most drivers were not bothered about rushing away to  watch the World Cup.
"It was a question of principle,after seeing that the majority of drivers don't care what goes on."the 35 year old said
