This site may harm your computer
« on: January 31, 2009, 02:37:18 PM »
Today when I typed F1 news in the Google
search I received the warning this site may
harm your computer.First time this has
happened, has anyone had a problem with any
F1 site?

Do you have automatic updates on your antivirus? You might have gotten a flawed update.

Every site on Google under f1 news with the
exception og one called stuffco.nz

I even tried f1 forums and all sites were on it
including GPWizard.Tried Google a little later and
all was back to normal.May have been a glitch
in Google

Do not adjust your set...

It was a problem with Google. They say human error caused every site to be flagged as potentially harmful for a time (most sites for most people were afflicted for 40 minutes).

Google have now apologised for the error that essentially labelled nearly every site on the Web as malware waiting to destroy your PC, they put it down to human error.
