Just North of London in Hertfordshire Dare we had about 7 to 8 inches, its gone down a bit each day but more is forecast for tonight or tomorrow morning.

No I don't Ian,over 1,000 inches in a season is hard to believe


John I think you have our problem.Big snowfalls are fairly
rare here too and when they do occur our city can't really
handle it.Plus at the forecast of any snow sends everyone
to the store for bread and milk

I did take some pics the other day but since we've had more last night here's some new ones.

Our gritters have run out of grit. It's chaos out there with people abandoning cars.

We stocked up the bunker on Tuesday. Not much left though  :-[

Went out for a ramble today and took some more pics. I'll put them up tomorrow. It was very very white.
