Well, it was really early in the morning, nothing on the road and I'm chugging along nicely trying to get to work. Next thing, Whoosh, this Escort comes lurching out of a side turning right in front of me and proceeds to travel at about 20 MPH
Ok, So I'm not best pleased as I follow him, and he knows I'm behind him and he seems to be going even slower to annoy me. Half a mile or so later I'm about 3 inches from his bumper and glaring through the windscreen shouting every obscenity known to man
Now I know there's a roundabout coming up, in front of the roundabout there's about 50 yards of road where it goes into two lanes.
So we arrive and I'm seeing which lane he's gonna choose and I'm gonna shoot past him up the other lane in my superduper fast clio. He chooses right, so in a split second I'm going up the inside.
As soon as I was beside him he put his foot down and really floored the poxy Escort so I only managed to to get 3/4 of a car length in front of him, so we're both doing about 40mph accross this roundabout, neither of us would back down. Then... Wallop!
Both got out of our cars and it was showdown time (and I lost)
He was swearing and carrying on, saying I'd overtaken/undertaken on a roundabout. I was saying He'd done it on purpose (which he had) trying to get money out of me for his (already) fucked front bumper. Luckily there was no damage to my car because he hit the back wheel.
The police were called to try and sort the fracas out, and it was decided that it was my fault and he could go through my insurance or give him £150. So I gave him £150 and remained Fucked-off for the entire weekend
