Wow, that would make it even more random than it currently seems.  Interesting to see how the cars manage in the wet with the new regs.

Lol, it nearly always rains at some point during the GP weekend at Sepang - it is the nature of the beast

I can't wait to see how the new cars do in the wet.

Another bonus if it rains - The teams won't have to use those terrible softs!

There were a few spots of rain in Practise 2, but nothing in Practise 1.

Practise 3 looks wet (that time block in Windguru suggests 4.1mm of rain in the relevant three-hour block). Qualifying looks like just missing the rain, while the race is predicted to be wet throughout (1.3mm average across the two three-hour blocks the race straddles, with the beginning wetter than the end).

With drivers spinning off and bumping everywhere due to rainy conditions the FIA are going to have a real field day disqualifying everyone.

Here's a bit of a game. Let's guess which driver gets away without at least one penalty this weekend.

I'll start.   EEEEEEEEErrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr         Nobody.

I have never been so confused about who fits where on the grid without rain and bad light interfering.  The Ferrari looked really twitchy this morning so it will be a real hand ful in the wet.  The McLaren handled really nicely but doesn't have enough downforce so it will probably fly in the rain.  Brawn, Williams and Red Bull should be good too.  I just want to see what happens when someone presses the KERS button in the wet before the car has straightened up.
