Here's a good car movie for Halloween. Spirits of the Dead. Made in 1969, it's based on three Edgar Allen Poe stories. Each is done by a different director: Loius Malle, Roger Vadim and Frederico Fellini. The cast includes Vincent Price, Brigitte Bardot, Jane and Peter Fonda and Terence Stamp. this is Stamp as Tony Dammit in the Fellini segment "Never Bet the Devil Your Head."

Turn the sound up! :yahoo:

I saw this back in the 70's Cos,its was on TCM last
night and as usual I forgot to tape it on my trusty VCR.

First time I've ever seen it playing on tv too,oh well

Plus anything with Bridget Bardot can't be all bad or
with any Bridget as far as that goes

Lotus cars were used in Grand Prix, but they were called Yamuras. Chapman was probably the only one who would repaint his cars if you paid him enough. Clark had a reputation for extreme shyness, and disliked being distracted by anything when he raced, so he probably just refused.

I vote for the many James Bond movies with great car chases. The bit in Golden Eye when he's chasing the ferrari and of course casino royal (2nd one) and just the sound of the DBS is enough to make a fella re-wind and listen again.

Too Fast Too Furious, what a car movie that is!!! Makes you wish you had a mean machine with a fresh paint job that you could drive flat out round a large city without a thought for other road users. NOT :DD

Best chase scene ever! (Even if the Charger does loose 8 hubcaps during the chase!  ;) )

#1 - The Blues Brothers

Elwood: It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

Jake: Fix the cigarette lighter

#2 - The Italian Job - the original, not that remake Hollywood barfed out a few years ago!

#3 - Goodbye Pork Pie (beacuse I love a good mini!)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082464/

#4 - GUILTY PLEASURE CHOICE!!!!!..... Days Of Thunder
Harry Hogge: Cole, you're wandering all over the track!
Cole Trickle: Yeah, well this son of a b**** just slammed into me.
Harry Hogge: No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he *rubbed* you. And rubbin, son, is racin'.
Kimi's back! Future double WDC.
