Looks like their trying to relate his death to
Max's scandal.I don't buy it ,I think it's just
another example of abusing drugs with a
unhappy ending

With everything that Max has said and done I still wouldn't wish this on anyone. He must be devastated and my heart goes out to him.  :(

How sad that all the articles I've read about the incident center as much on the misdeeds of his father and grandfather as they did on the young man's death. No matter how we feel about Max, no one should have to deal with the death of one of their children.

No parent should ever have to out-live their child, deepest sympathies to the mosely family.

But why, with all his money and assets did he need to turn to drugs? It is completely beyond me.

It is with regret that I have just read on an Italian motorsport forum that Max Mosley's 39 year old son Alexander passed away earlier today, of a suspected overdose.

Has anybody heard this news yet, because I am always suspicious of such news coming from Italian sources ?

Sorry, I didn't realise there was already a topic opened on this. I put it in F1 News as I thought it appropriate, but this will do. So to the mod that moved it - Thanks. ;)

So you guys have read it too. Yes, I really wouldn't like to be Max in this sad moment.

My condolences to all the family.

I'm with ROM on this - a parent should never have to outlive a child.  They must be devastated.  Condolences to the Mosley's.

For all the faults we usually lay at Max's door it is hard to imagine the grief He and his family are feeling over the loss of Alexander. Sincerest condolences to everyone in the Mosley family.

To answer Ian's point about money and privilege, it seems to me the more advantage people are given the less risk averse they become.

Thats the silly thing ain't it John, I've smoked a few joints in my time, but hard drugs, no thanks, they'll kill you in the end. Even if I'd have won that £110,000,000 on the Euromillions the thought of taking hard drugs is totally abhorent to me.

I looks like another case of "money can't buy happiness. I doubt that the Mosley household was a very good place to grow up up. Carrying the legacy of his father and grandfather couldn't have been easy, either.

Please don't misunderstand. I'm not trying to justify the young man's actions. I'm jut trying to understand them.
