THQ, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software, has sent an unusual, glittering gift to the Queen of England, and it’s a gold plated Wii.

The one-off blinged device was delivered to Buckingham Palace. Finished in gold, the unique Wii console was specially commissioned for the Royal Family to mark the launch of brand new BIG Family Games for the Wii.

THQ thought that Her Majesty the Queen wouldn’t want to play on any old console, so an extra-special gold one was commissioned.
