All successful TV personalities star in a pilot show at some point in their carrer.

Unfortunately my earlier attempts as The Stig where less impressive.

Talking of comedy effect, this is how the Stig makes the girls go all weak at the knees.

That's what makes Top Gear so easy and enjoyable to watch, a layed back fun look at the world of cars. Lets face it we all want to know how quick they go rather than what MPG they do.

That video clip is, I'm pretty certain, a lookilike spoof at Top Gear's expense, and not part of the show.

It does not have any BBC ident and the driver does not appear to have the correct Stig uniform, I found it and posted it for the crack.

Top Gear presenters , including Clarkson, freely admit that the show is about entertainment and humour with cars & motors as the format. A large audience, me included, find enough to keep us watching - so long may it run!
