Vettel gets DMSB
« on: November 14, 2006, 05:20:02 PM »
Sebastian Vettel, test and reserve driver of the BMW Sauber F1 Team, has been awarded by the German Motorsport Associations (DMSB) for his performances in the past motorsport season. The young gun was presented the Junior Cup of the DMSB.

Sebastian has probably experienced the most exciting season of his racing career so far. Even if the 19-year-old narrowly missed the championship title in the Formula 3 Euro Series, he managed to impress in the young-gun series by winning four races. During his appearances as the BMW Sauber F1 Team's Friday driver from the Turkish Grand Prix onwards, the youngster was able to give proof of his extraordinary talent in Formula One.

To honour his performances, Sebastian has now received the Junior Cup of the German Motorsport Association (DMSB). He was presented the award during the DMSB Championship celebration at the Petersberg in Bonn, Germany.

Next year, Sebastian will return to Formula One racing as the official test and reserve driver of the BMW Sauber F1 Team.

The Stig
