James May's Lego House
« on: August 02, 2009, 09:19:32 AM »
James May has a very interesting project he needs volunteers for. May wants to build a house out of Legos. Literally!

With millions of Bricks send over from Czechlosovakia, May plans to start building his two-story house, this coming Saturday in the middle of Dorking England. It’s all a part of his BBC series James May’s Toy Stories. Once complete, the Lego House will have a life size staircase, toil and shower, and all the amenties May will need to live in the house for several days. But it’s not without challenges. There’s the flushing Lego toilet, for instance, and the pipes for plumbing which May will try to make lego-like as much as he can.

And although May has over 3 million bricks to start, he’s not really sure if that’s enough to build an actual life-sized Lego mansion. So, May is taking donations and volunteers to make it happen.

Anyone interested in taking part in the Lego house build, or who has Lego bricks to donate, should e-mail lego@plumpictures.co.uk.

What an amazing project I'm sorry I won't be able to help with a donation of Lego bricks, I reckon there is enough in my house to build his garage. I have discussed it with my two boys, aged 6 & 3 but they are not overly keen to donate their Lego. :'(

Ever stood on a Lego brick in your bare feet, s**t that's sore!! >:(
