Buks, welcome to GPWizard and hope you are enjoying yourself.

I do feel a lot more at ease about FIF1's future now that I've seen that Adrian is growing into his new-found team leader role and that Tonio is doing really well in the race seat. Force India needs to keep both of them in place for 2010 if at all possible.

Fisi did pretty well all things considered.  He did better than Badoer would have done, which is one plus, and continued to improve throughout the weekend.

As for FIF1, being one of the other true independents, I really hope they do well.  Sutil and Liuzzi are both racers I rate highly and at time hoped would end up in the Williams.

Eddie Jordon was asked if Fisi made the right move,he said
for being a Italian maybe for being a race driver no.Race
drivers race to win races in the best car available.

If Fisco wasn't on Luizzi's xmas list before I
bet he's now right at the top

Fulfilling a dream always counts for something.  I liked the comment that Fisi doesn't care if FIF1 1-2 the rest of the season, as long as he's in the Ferrari.

Besides, he can take pride in being part of the team that developed the FIF1

I think Eddie Jordan must have been having a bad day - between the comments concerning Fisi and trying to convince us (during a discussion about Heikki) that nice guys can't make it in F1 when a nice guy (Rubens) won the race, he wasn't making a whole lot of sense...

I was impressed with how Fisi handled the various setbacks of the weekend. If he can be one place off points after a weekend like that, he's going to be scoring hatfuls of points before long. His attitude to the eventuality that Force India might be faster than Ferrari round Monza was pleasing to hear too - a dream with conditionalities isn't much of a dream and if FIF1 had done 1-2s for the rest of the season, then Fisi would have known why. To fulfil a dream like that causes the sort of joy that makes it impossible to begrudge others joy. We need more people like that in F1 :)

I totally agree.  I think it is amazing a guy in the twilight of his career has the opportunity to fulfill his dream and it is a brilliant story.  F1 could do with a lot more nice news like that.
