Jacques Villeneuve was at the race and he was interviewed by Louise Goodman about why he was there. He said the only reason he was there was to try and find a drive for next year. I can't remember his exact words but it was along the lines of "I wouldn't waste one of my weekends off coming to a race for a holiday". It made me wonder why he wants to get back into the sport. When asked who he was talking to, he said "some people", I wonder if he doesn't want to name these people because they all said no.

Also I couldn't go where I did without an autograph.

On the front of my ticket (the side with the barcode) is Nakajima, Hiedfeld and Coulthard.

On the back is  Sutil, Barrichello and Liuzzi.

Sorry about the spelling and length, it's 3:15am here and the buzz of the pits has subsided.
I can't think of anything to write here.

Outstanding work, Aazz! Good job on getting "behind the scenes."

I'm a Canon man myself. My main unit is my trusty 20D. A while back I got A40's for all of our field crews, and I carry one for a back-up. I also still have my Elan 7E 35mm.

Well done to you too, Andy. There's nothing like actually being there!  :yahoo:

Holy crap Aazz!  Amazing that you got in there.  And those autograph's on your ticket - what a fantastic souveneir!  The keys were in the safety car and it was unguarded and you didn't hop in for a spin?  Shame on you   :D

Thanks for all the pics - send some originals to Wiz and maybe he can post them somewhere for us to look at in HD.

My last few shots.

All in all the Singapore GP was a great experience, I would recommend it to anyone. Getting into the pits was just an added bonus. ScottyD I would have loved to have gone for a drive but I was trying to be inconspicuous and not push my luck ;)

The city itself is also very good, easy to get around and plenty to do. If someone is thinking of a holiday you could do a lot worse than Singapore, I really enjoyed my week here.

Aazz :D

Well done Aazz you're much better organised than me but then I had a wife and son to contend with when not at the circuit. Pictures to follow and the fencing is a problem. :good:
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!
