If the Guardian is to be believed, it is for 6m pounds (sorry, I have an American English keyboard) for 3 years at Mclaren.  If it's true, I have to just say 'wow' (that's a little 'wow' with eyebrows raised, not a smiling all caps kinda 'WOW!').

3 years?!  That is surprising, I'd have gone for a one year deal with an option to extend depending on how it works out.  I would then have guessed at JB going to Williams in 2011 once Rubens has retired.  Wow.  JB has struck gold with a 3 year deal.

3 years does seem long for Button.

Hopefully things work out well for him, and McLaren.
