Sad news - Edward Woodward dies

Poor old Ed has gone and left us. The star of one of my favorite films ever, The Wicker Man. >:(

*Warning* this video contains nude images of Brit Ekland, so I suggest the OAP's refrain from clicking. I won't be held responsible for the consequences :DD

On a more serious note I always like Mr Woodward.I used to
watch him on his tv series The Equalizer and first saw him
in Breaker Morant.

Seriously though, I thought he was a good actor, Callan, The Equaliser, he was also a good comedy actor too.

Sad news indeed. Like Dare, I first remember seeing him in Breaker Morant. He also played Sherlock Holmes in the film "Hands of a Murderer" back in the late 80's or early 90's. John Hillerman (Higgens on Magnum, P.I.) played Dr. Watson in the movie, and Anthony Andrews was Prof. Moriarity.

Here's the way many of us over here remember him, Jag and all.

It's sad alright when the stars you grew up with start dying, he was a good actor.

I remember him best for his role on British TV, and a film I think, of Callan.Great theme music and distinctive title sequence.
