Where the hell have this outfit Stefan GP popped up from and just where are they getting the money to buy the Toyota 2010 car and put a team on the grid?

Surely now Peter Sauber owns the team once again, there should be no problem of the team being a serious entity, unless Todt holds a grudge against him.  I would definitely prefer to see an established team than a new entity.

It is insane if they somehow displace Sauber for the 13th slot.  There is no way they should get it.  If this happens, then Todt is really showing his true colours and will do anything to undermine a former or current opponent.  Toyota has all but disbanded, and there is no provision to sell another team a grid slot (Williams and Campos or Manor I think were the ones who opposed that option when it was brought up before).

Sauber takes back F1 team from BMW

Yesterday, BMW AG reached an agreement with Peter Sauber regarding the sale of the BMW-Sauber F1 team," BMW said in a statement.

It all still hinges on what F1 does with Toyota's slot.

Or what Toyota does to avoid paying a big fine to the FIA.

If on the one hand you get charged quite a few million for walking away after signing the concorde but on the other hand you can pass the team, without the factory, to someone else for a token single yen payment, or possibly more, - what would you do?

The Sunday newspaper (Blick) here says that Sauber will be awarded the 13th grid position on Monday officially.

I guess the Blick was wrong, or just hopeful...

So let me get this straight.  The FIA promised Sauber the 13th spot on the grid if anyone pulled out, but now that they find themselves in a position to invoke a massive fine if Toyota don't show up, they may force Toyota to sell their grid position, thereby causing Sauber to lost the position they were promised.  No, it's not all about money, is it?   :nono: :nono:

Todt is a joke.

I just read on Autosport that Toyota says that they have no intention of selling their entry. They have returned their entry to to the FIA.
