Title: Team told Alonso to stay out

It's what I suggested in chat.  The team were assessing the damage and were hoping to run the damaged front wing until time to change to slick tires.

You were right, Scott.  :good: That explains why Alonso stayed out, he was just doing what his pit told him to do. (unlike certain other drivers who don't follow orders so well.)
