G'day everyone,

Montreal is a hell of a city!
Make sure you take in as much as you can!

Listen Ju, take Fernando some of your baked goodies at Silverstone and you'll be buddies for life, unless he gets too fat to fit in the car. :DD :DD

Two in one year aazz, you lucky man. :good:

Ooh I'm so jealous aazz I've always wanted to visit Canada,
but to go to the GP there as well that's just heaven. :swoon:

The way the weather has been round here lately, it's more than likely it'll be raining. Friends at work are going for the 3 days..they had a great time last year. Tons of really cool cars about also. The Ferrari club had some FXX's a few years back doing some laps.
Enjoy yourself..

Here are half a dozen photos from the first two practice sessions of the GP. The weather is nice and I even got a little bit sunburnt, although it is supposed to be rainy for the next couple of days. Not much information to report because I can't really hear the commentators and when I can hear it, it is a mixture of french and english which makes it a bit difficult to understand. I am sitting just on the exit of the hairpin. Also De La Rosa has replaced Perez.
In unrelated news, beer tastes much better on holidays.

Here are the next few, with a close up of Alonso just for Jugirl (don't get too excited!!)

Great pictures there aazz :good:

Enjoy the build up and the race tomorrow :yahoo:

Here are a few more photos. A mixture of qualifying and practice. With a photo of Alan Jones's car thrown in.

The next few. The Webber photo is my new wallpaper.
So far I am having a great time in Montreal and at the race. Here's hoping for no rain and a Webber win.
Cheers. :D

Great stuff, aazz! I love the pix of Pastor locking up the right front! :good:
You just can't beat actually being at the race!
-
Great pics aazz, keep 'em coming. :good:
-
Now I see why you wanted the exit of the hairpin. Fantastic place for pictures. :good: :good:
I like to see the cars at speed, but as a result my pictures generally suck :(

Here are some more photos.
This race was the best one I have been to, even with the rain. The crowd was clapping and cheering the whole time. Even when it was raining and the race was stopped the crowd would just start clapping, laughing and cheering at irregular moments. The atmosphere was great, even better than when I was here in 2007.
The race was exciting as well, I'm looking forward to watching it when I get home. And even better was that Webber was on the podium.
The only downside is that now I'm back at the motel ironing my clothes to get them dry and blow drying my shoes for my early morning flight.
Everyone needs to get themselves to this race atleast once. (Tickets are on sale now for next year :D )

5 hours in chat watching the race

Amazing shot of Button's broken wheel. I thought it was just a cut tire during the race. Rain or not, I think a lot of us would have loved to have been there with you. Can't wait to see more once you're home. :good:

Glad to hear you enjoyed the race despite having to stand in the pouring rain.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Once I get home I will sort through all of the photos and post a few more up. But I've still got a little bit of holiday left yet :yahoo:
